Strings and Stars Patriotic Quilt

Here in the USA, we will be celebrating the 4th of July, Memorial Day and other patriotic events before we know it.

 

The Strings & Stars quilt from Patriotic Modern Quilts is a quick and easy pattern.  It was photographed outdoors in Philadelphia by the talented Kitty Wilkin….isn’t this a perfect setting for a patriotic quilt?

Both blocks are paper pieced so that stripes are parallel and star points are crisp and neat.

Alternate Colorways

If you want to make the project in alternate colors, just use the materials list and swap the fabrics for your desired colors.

Here’s the table runner in Island Batik fabrics and an all solids version in black, white and yellow.  The possibilities are endless.
